An athlete’s path to become a pro is clearly not an easy one! While its paramount for athletes to strengthen and train their bodies, it’s equally important for them to train their minds. NeuroTracker Personal is designed to help you on your path to improvement, which is why it includes multiple phases.
Phase 1: Core Training Program
All NeuroTracker Personal packages include a core training program which is part of phase 1 and consists of 30 training sessions. Your first 3 sessions will provide a baseline (an initial reference point for your cognitive ability).
The purpose of phase 1 is to assess your mental capabilities and prepare your brain for learning, before you move to phase 2. Specialized questionnaires are integrated into your program before (pre) and after (post) the 30 sessions. They only take a couple of minutes to complete and will measure the overall benefits NeuroTracker Personal has on your performance.
Why 30 sessions? Studies reveal that 30 sessions yield significant benefits from NeuroTracker Personal. Although, some studies show improvements in high-level cognitive functions after just 10 sessions. It’s important to note that NeuroTracker Personal contains algorithms that adapt to your abilities.
Upon completion of this phase, you will receive a comprehensive progress report that provides information about your cognitive profile. Knowing more about your cognitive strengths and weaknesses is the first step on your path to improvement!
Phase 2: Advanced Training Programs
You’re now in the next training phase. Its aim is to take you to even a higher performance level! Phase 2 consists of 12 modules of progressively more advanced training. Prepare to receive the ultimate mental challenge; Using NeuroTracker Personal while simultaneously completing physical and skill-based tasks. These tasks can be broken down into 4 categories: 1) balance 2) strength 3) cardio and 4) skill. Examples of these tasks are listed below:
Balance: standing, standing on one foot, etc.
Strength: squats, lunges, calf-raises, etc.
Cardio: steps, knee raises, jogging on the spot, etc.
Skill: dribbling a basketball (basketball-focused), skating (hockey-focused)
In general, it takes about 3 months to complete the core training program (30 sessions). If you are very diligent with your training, however, you could complete the program before your 3 months is up.
Rest assured that while your subscription is active, you can do an unlimited amount of training and even move on to some of the advanced programs. 3 sessions per day is the maximum recommended number of sessions to keep training optimal. This ensures that you get the most out of every training session.
Successful completion of Phase 2 (advanced training programs) will require approximately 12 months of training time.
